Account Questions
Opening a Vaultstone account takes under 4 minutes. Click Open Account, enter your personal details, choose your account type (Personal, Business, or Wealth), set a secure password, and verify your identity. Once KYC is approved (usually within minutes), your account is fully active.
There is no minimum balance for Personal accounts. Business accounts require a $500 minimum. Wealth Management accounts require $1,000,000 in investable assets. There are no monthly maintenance fees at any tier.
Yes. You can hold a Personal account and a Business account simultaneously under the same login. If you qualify for Wealth Management, your relationship manager will guide you through consolidating or linking accounts for a unified view.
Navigate to Dashboard → Settings → Profile. You can update your name, phone number, email, and address. Some changes (e.g. legal name) require uploading updated identity documents for re-verification.
You can request account closure from Dashboard → Settings → Close Account. We'll first confirm your identity, transfer your remaining balance to an external account of your choice, and close within 3–5 business days. There are no account closure fees.
Transfers & Payments
Personal accounts: $25,000/day domestic, $10,000/day international. Business accounts: $500,000/day domestic, $250,000/day international. Wealth clients have custom limits set by their private banker. Limits can be increased by contacting support with verification.
Transfers between Vaultstone accounts are instant, 24/7. International wire transfers to external banks typically arrive in 1–2 business days for SWIFT payments. Transfers to our 34 supported currency corridors settle the same business day when initiated before 2 PM local time.
Vaultstone-to-Vaultstone transfers: always free. External bank transfers: $0 for domestic ACH, $15 flat for SWIFT wires. FX conversion uses the mid-market rate plus a 0.5% spread — one of the lowest in the industry. No hidden fees, ever.
Security & Privacy
Yes. Vaultstone Bank, N.A. is a federally chartered bank and FDIC member. Personal deposits are insured up to $250,000 per depositor. Business accounts qualify for up to $500,000. Joint accounts are insured up to $500,000. Your investments through Vaultstone Securities LLC are SIPC-protected up to $500,000.
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Security → Enable 2FA. We support TOTP apps (Google Authenticator, Authy) and SMS. We strongly recommend TOTP apps over SMS for better protection against SIM-swap attacks. 2FA is mandatory for business and wealth accounts.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We hold SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS Level 1 certifications. We never sell your personal data to third parties. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and why.
Cards
Personal accounts receive a Titanium Visa Debit card. Business clients receive a Business Mastercard with configurable spending controls per employee. Wealth Management clients receive our Black Titanium card with no foreign transaction fees and unlimited airport lounge access.
Go to Dashboard → Cards → and toggle the card freeze switch. Freeze takes effect instantly and blocks all new card-present and card-not-present transactions. Recurring charges you've authorized may still process. Unfreeze is equally instant.
Freeze the card immediately from the Dashboard (see above), then go to Cards → Report Lost/Stolen. A replacement card will be dispatched via expedited delivery within 1–3 business days. All unauthorized transactions are eligible for full chargeback under our Zero Liability policy.
Investments
Personal accounts: managed ETF portfolios, individual stocks, bonds, and auto-invest savings plans. Business accounts: treasury management, short-duration bonds, money market funds. Wealth Management: alternative assets, hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and bespoke structured products.
Investment accounts are held through Vaultstone Securities LLC, a registered broker-dealer and SIPC member. SIPC protects up to $500,000 in securities (including $250,000 in cash) if the firm fails. SIPC does not protect against market losses — only custodian failure. Note that investments involve risk and can lose value.
Fees & Rates
Our High-Yield Savings currently earns 4.75% APY for Personal accounts and 5.10% APY for Business accounts. Rates are variable and updated monthly based on Fed Funds rate. There is no minimum balance to earn the full APY.

We charge only for: SWIFT wires ($15 flat), paper statements ($2/month, opt-in only), and optional premium services like expedited card replacement ($25).
